I often send a webpage to the desktop to remind me to view it later.
To do this, just right click on the relevant page and then click Create Shortcut. A link to the page is placed on the desktop.
However to get the same function on Firefox, you need to download this Create Shortcut Addon
It then works in the same manner as in IE.
