Thanks for the info about where to download Outlook Express stationery (Issue 163, page 69). If, like me you are a Thunderbird user, there is an add-on which will allow you to use this stationery in the same way you do with Outlook Express Stationery. Very useful extension to personalise your emails.

That's a useful add-on to know about as I'm thinking of trying Thunderbird. I use OE at the moment and my husband doesn't want to change. Do you know if it's possible to try Thunderbird and keep OE at the same time? My account is the primary one on OE.

Yes of course you can do that, just like you have more than one browser.
Perhaps if you have more than one email account, you could just try one of them with TBird to see what you think. I still have all my contacts and email address set up with OE just as a back up. But I really like TBird and wouldn't go back.

Thanks Heather. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I've just downloaded Thunderbird and I'll see what I think over the weekend when I've got more time. From what I've read, I think I'll like it! Thanks again.

You're welcome. Good luck with it.
I have been using TBird for more than a couple of years and the software has come a long way since them.

Thanks. I expect it'll take me a little while to get used to Thunderbird as it did when I first got Firefox, but I'll persevere! If I have any problems or queries, I'll post them in the email forum (or send you a pm!).

You're welcome Madeline.
I'll try and help out if you have any problems. The Mozillazine forums is also a great resource for info.

Thanks, Heather. I'm very grateful for your help and advice. I've already had a look at the Thunderbird forums at Mozillazine, but I try to ignore the problem pages so that they don't put me off! They've got a tutorial there which I'm going to plough my way through, but I think the best thing probably is just to install Thunderbird and learn about it as I go along - that's my usual approach to new programs and I've always coped so far!
