SITEHOST, ia usually www.yoursitename.co.uk or it could be the IP address of the 1&1 server that your website is saved to, such as http://10.10.10.10

USERNAME is most probably the usename that 1&1 have given you.

Password, is quite self explanatory

PORT should be 21. (21 being FTP port, which I'm guessing your wysiwyg editor needs to use to send files to the 1&1 server).

If you still have problems, ask 1&1 for your FTP details as these are what you need to upload your files to your website

I hope this helps

There's normally a main folder for all the webpages, I know cpanel puts all the pages in public_html.

Your folder might be named www or something along those lines.

If you know where you put the files that are showing on your website, then you need to transfer the new files to this folder.

i email 1&1 support and they asked what browser was used to pull up the domain and also to send them a screenshot? how do i do that?
i would be gratefull if anyone could look at the site for me and tell me if it is looking ok at your end. www.alternativefuelcentre.co.uk

To create a screen shot you can do this:

1) Open your website in a browser (IE, FireFox)

2) Press 'Print Screen' button (located near F12)

3) Open Paint and copy the file there (ctrl + V)

4) Save the image and email it to 1&1

------------------------------------------------------------

your site looks fine for me

i used both Internet Explorer and FireFox at screen resolutions of 800 * 600 and also 1024 * 768
