This is probably a really basic question, but i'll ask anyway.
my computer is used by myself and my kids all using different login accounts, there are programs that i don't want my kids to access, when i download them how do i keep them on my user account only and not share them .
also is there a way of changing the programs i already have to do the same thing.
i use limewire, for music, but my daughter downloaded a video and it wasn't what she was looking for and it wasn't something i would want her to see ( if you know what i mean) and i just don't want this to happen again
If you are using XP or Win2k,then I would suggest that you consider removing Administrator Privileges from your daughters account and set up a limited account
On existing installs move the shortcut from the "all users" start menu to yours only. Alter the NTFS permissions on the folders which contain the application so that only administrative or your account alone have access to it.
