Sick of copying and pasting links?
      #350248 - Tue May 29 2007 08:47 AM

If you a bit lazy like me, then I'm sure you find copying and pasting links from places that don't make then clickable a pain?

Well, here's the answer: Linkification.

Nice one, Josh. I use BBCodeXtra, do you think I would benefit from having Linkification as well?

I use both, linkification makes url's in forums where links/html is disabled and makes them clickable. As it's only 68kb, you have nothing to lose to try it, even on your connection.

Thanks. I'll install it and give it a go. As you say, 68KB won't take long to download even on my slow connection! About 30 seconds, if that!

Has anyone tried linkification yet.

My reason for asking is,I once downloaded BBCodeXtra and it got lost inthe system.

I never did get to use it,I don't want to download stuff I can't find on this new machine.

Wear does this add on hide itself within Firefox?

I'm using it now, and it works fine, it just installs where all the other extensions install, in the Firefox folder. To use BBCodeXtra, you right click when your typing in a forum and it gives extra options on the menu.

I'm not sure how your BBCodeXtra got lost, but you can find out which extensions and themes you've got installed by going to Tools>Add-ons and they'll open in a sidebar. Click on the jigsaw puzzle piece to see your extensions and on the palette for themes.
If you want to try BBCodeXtra again, you can download it here. This is the Home Page where you can get more info. If it isn't in English, click on the Union Jack to change it.
