A local group with which I am involved produce a quarterly newsletter. It's 5 pieces of A4, printed both sides and folded down the middle to create a 20 page booklet. It is currently printed in a local shop using a commercial laser printer. Quality is OK but we want to do something better. We are toying with the idea of purchasing a colour laser printer so that we can print the cover in colour with the inside pages black and white. I've found 3 printers within our price range - Epson Aculaser C900 @ £450, the HP2500L @£600 and the Minolta Magicolour 2300DL @ £430. I've read all the reviews, including Which magazine and all 3 printers seem good. Does anybody out there have any direct experience of any of them or know of any others in that price range. They crop up on ebay fairly regularly but most of them are used so we need to be careful.
Yes, but what about the £67 VAT which makes it £447 + probably another £20 delivery charges. It annoys me intensely when these sites quote ex-vat. It's just a con to try and get you buy something without quoting the right price.
