Interactive Animation Needed
      #347853 - Tue May 15 2007 10:58 AM

Hello everyone

Can anyone help me?

I am looking for a specific type of animation. My problem is I'm sure I have seen it before but I can't remember where and this is an avenue I though I would explore.

Imagine a website that looks like an open book. The way you navigate round the site is clicking a link (e.g. the bottom corner of the book) and the page actually turns like a real book through animation.

It doesn't have to be perfect, but has anyone seen any interactive functionality like this where design is concerned? I'm sure it will have been designed in Flash etc... I'm aware of a new media called Silverlight that may have this but I need an actual functioning website that does this for demo purposes.

If anyone thinks they can help me, thank you in advance.

And my apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I just thought that designers would know about this kind of media.

John

There is online photo gallery software out there that does that, as in a photo album, but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

The electronic/online version of Web User (Zinio) has a similar interface too.

Again, that's fantastic TFC. The possibilities for using this component are endless...

Good work again. I don't visit this place too much anymore but this forum never lets me down when I need help.

Cheers again TFC.

I was going to suggest flash as soon as I saw the Web user animation site.

Looks quite impressive though.
