You can use WMP for the BBC site.

This is what I get when trying to play anything on the BBc

"This clip requires the RealPlayer G2 (or later) plugin. Read our WebWise guide for more information, or try playing the clip in RealPlayer.
Open in stand alone player | Full Screen"

I'm not sure about this but I've just been playing with BBC7 on the net and it seems that you can use WMP to listen live but it insists on Real Player to 'Listen Again'.

AFAIK all BBC 'listen again' files are RAM, I use Classic Media Player to play all online radio (it handles most formats), and I have all the shows & stations I do listen to in the favourites.
