Need an "abuse" button
      #347036 - Thu May 10 2007 03:54 PM

One of the message forums I use, has only been going for about 2/3 weeks. One of the members posts have been quite offensive to many members. I enquired why there was no button to alert the web master/moderators and seemingly they didn't realise they could have one. I was told to tell you they are on phpBB2 for what it's worth. Maybe that will mean something to you. Could anyone help please?

Unless a notify/abuse button exists in the phpBB2 software (I'd be surprised if it didn't) it would not be an easy matter implementing one. Though you might find a mod for it somewhere among the myriad phpBB2 user groups/forums/sites.

I dont believe PHPBB2 does include the option of a "report post" button - PHPBB3 however has been launched with that feature included
