Hi peeps,
I am currently creating a UK websites directory. I started manually inputting links into pages myself but then figured out that it would be very hard to categorise it and keep sites updated without the help of a database so I spent a little extra and got a script to give it more interactivity. I admit I am using one or two affiliate links as some sites I listed offer it. I currently have created 8 categories which is very little but it is the begining. My next category will be magazines. Computer Active helped me with some of the sites wording so I am very thankful to them.
Want your bad and good views. Thanks

I agree, the site is clean and simple, which is fast loading. Hmm, may I ask something? Are you intending doing this only for pleasure or to try to turn a pound or two?
I ask because my last boss was the owner/MD of EasyNet, and they failed to make it pay so folded. They planned on making a simple directory much like yours, but he admits they missed the dot com boom and while the idea was good, the timing was bad.
So if you are doing it for fun, then good luck and strength to your elbow, but please don't give up the day job if you planned on making it a business.

Thanks for the feedback.
it's just something i've always wanted to do, you get so many directories but they are not very helpful, they are just full of ads and irrelevant listings due to this pay per click boom that is around. It's going to take me a very long time to get all categories done but im sure it will be worth it.
Thanks again for the advice and feedback, I really appreciate it.
