Why is IE7 acting so differently between computers?
      #346793 - Tue May 08 2007 07:26 PM

In our office we have noticed huge inconsistencies in rendering between computers using IE7. Currently, we are aware of one computer which is breaking pages, while other computers are displaying them perfectly with the same IE7 version (7.0.5730.11). Can this be the result of the viewing area, even if the sites are styled using pixels (no percentages used)? The computer in question does use a wide-screen display, but the issues we are seeing appear to involve specific page elements. The integrity of the overall page structure is maintained, which leads me to believe that screen resolution is not a factor. Of course, I could be wrong.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

I'm afraid that as your question relates to an office computer, we are unable to help as per clause 10 of the forum's Board Rules and is a matter that should be brought to the attention of your work's IT people.

I will lock this thread.
