FireFox not set as default browser;what to expect?
      #346638 - Mon May 07 2007 03:32 PM

I've just downloaded and started using FireFox 2.0 today, I still have IE7 as my default browser...but I'll be using FireFox mostly this week so as to familiarize myself with it. What can I expect in terms of bad things that might occur during my browsing brought about by my not setting FireFox as my default browser. Im just not ready yet since its my 1st day to use FireFox. And also my wife who had her own limited account in our pc, I expect, will not yet be ready to use Firefox. I just want to anticipate problems...if there is conflict with my not setting FireFox as default.

Nothing untoward. Just use Firefox, then if you find it's the one for you, then you can set it as the default browser.

There shouldn't be any problems with Firefox not being your default browser. I mainly use FF, but it's not set as my default browser as I've never bothered to do it. I use several browsers, including 3 IE-based browsers and Opera, but IE7 is still my default and I don't have any problems with any of my browsers.
