Why are so many of my options in IE6 "greyed out" and unusable ? e.g. "create mail" I cannot use "insert" except for "file attachment" How can I get all of the "greyed out" options back. Thanks for any help - John

Do you mean Outlook Express 6?

If you do, you may have OE set to read all messages in plain text.This would grey out a lot of options.

Open OE > Tools > Options > Read > Un-check 'Read all messages in plain text' > Apply/OK
