When i install SP2 my pc won't boot up.
It comes up with a black screen and i can scroll to safe mode .If i don't the pc just keeps restarting and going to the same screen.
I have to uninstall SP2 in safe mode so that i can use my pc.
I recently upgraded my pc with a new motherboard and cpu.
I reinstalled xp and had no probs until i installed SP2.

Any ideas?
All help gratefully recieved

rather than installing sp2,go to start/ help and support/windows update,and have a look at what update is telling you you need.
