I have a strange one here and hope someone can advise me what it is all about. I have put the string into Google and it is not recognised. When I start to shut down Windows XP by clicking on the 'Start' button, then go to 'Shut Down', a box comes on the screen which says 'This programme is not responding' and asks me if I want to 'End Now'. According to the box the programme is called 'estTLLQqsenIDEOhU/IVgA24'. I haven't the foggiest idea what this is. Can anyone out there tell me what is going on please?
Does this message appear every time you shutdown ? If it does then the next time you're going to do so , and just before you click on the start button , open up the task manager and check under the applications tab to see if anything is still showing as running. You could also check under the processes tab to check the CPU usage. As you are ready to close down , and there should be no programmes running , the system idle process should be showing almost all of the CPU usage. If it's not take a note of what process /s are using it. If you let us know your findings maybe someone can fathom out what's going on.
I take it you've done a full scan of your PC with your antivirus and antispyware software.
