Depend what you deleted Cookies are all the logon references (some system security files) Have to exercise caution if deleting these
Search History files are cached pages to help faster load if you revisit somewhere
Only delete those where you think there is a problem NOT Wholesale
Temp files are a mix of the above but can always be deleted without harm
To safely clear these and other caches Use a cleaner program such as CCleaner
PS DO NOT clear/alter Files from The Registry NOR with HiJackThis ...That is Suicide! That is Expert country Off limits to most of us OK

I Looked it up despite coming from a reputablr source it is Not a tool for the average user Like Hijackthis (Same source) hence the Muddle you are in
There is a good chance that you can restore Full function back (but you may lose something you have installed later? And that is to go to the System Restore point on or before the day when you tried this out (It should be marked as such)
Copy/paste this into the Run Box Off line (Just discovered this route) %SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe then Follow the Instructions Have to do a Reset at the end Takes a couple of minutes
Now go online again Is everything back to what it was? Next post again to get an easier way to tidy these areas out ...Manual link removal is Very risky ok with Text but with anything else that is Strictly a NO NO

Okay easy steps Click on the Start Menu button The bottom Item in the right Column is the Run... Link Click on this and paste that link I gave you into that box then Press the "OK" button then open the System Restore Program as we discussed earlier
