I have removed Real player as this was slowing things down to much.Now I find Iam unable to play music from my libary. I have Windows media player but seem unable to get it to detect the music already on the computor. Iam doing something wrong but what.
Real player played the music but was continually trying to connect to the web. Which i had Zone alarm block. If I re-installed real play how do you stop it from this.
It's free, very small and doesn't take over the computer. I don't have Real installed for the same reasons. Just use realalternative whenever you need Realplayer
What happens when you go to Start/All Programs/Real Alternative and click on Media Player Classic? Will it not open at all, or just not play your file? What type if file are you trying to play? (what three letters come after the full stop?)
I don't understand what is going on. what happens when you load realalternative (= media player classic) and click File Open and browse to a file. Do you get a message?
Another thing you could try is the free BSPlayer and see if that will play your files. All I have on my system is BSPlayer and realalternative, and they share the playing between themselves.
