Hi I have windows xp home and have just updated to internet explorer 7 hoping it would fix my problem but it hasen't. I can't click on any buttons shown on any web sites as it just comes up wi an error Code 0 Object doesn't support this property or method I can't even log on to webuser as it comes up with the same error so I've had to user another computer to wright this message. Please Help
Hi have tryed this support and gone through ttere sulutions but they didn't help. I did find a diagnostis tool there and downloaded it. I run the scan but I don't know what to do with the info it has give me, it does show 1 error. I'll add it to this post if you know what to do with it or if you have any other ideas. The other thing I have tryed is run regedit and bring up Registry Editor righ click HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT then click permissions. Upon doing this found that there was nothing there so I added the ones that are on a similar computer the only one I couldn't find was power user. But this didn't fix anything either. Here is the Diagnostic Report

Well that's me baffled! Perhaps an answer would be to uninstall IE7 and look into how to 'repair Internet Explorer' (Google or other search). Once that is working, you could consider installing IE7 again.

Looking at your log ,( although i must stress I'm not an expert in these ) , it appears you are running with an outdated version of Java. Could you check in your add/remove programs to see which version you have installed. You should be running with... version 6. If you're not then uninstall the older versions first ( via add/remove ) , reboot your PC then install from the link.
Not sure if this will help with your problem but you've nothing to lose by trying.
Hi There is no java in add remove and I've tryed to install java but evertime I do it just refreshes the page and I tryed a manual download but when I try to open it it tells me that its noe supperted and contact the supplyer. Denny
