I can't find this subject on the Forum, so could someone please advise me how to make the Windows XP startup go straight to Desktop and not stop at user accounts waiting for me to click on my own name. I am the only user of this computer.
Appreciate any advice please

Thanks for the advice. Followed your suggestion and checked the registry against the details given.
In my Winlogon the following is the situation:
Default UserName shown as Micheal
Default Password: This line does not exist
AutoAdminLogon: This line does not exist
Default Domain Name shown as Secondary
Can you please advise how the above should be changed in order to do away with the Welcome and Logon screens?
If anything should be added, does it have to be inserted between any specific lines or in any special placing?

Take a look at this thread here. I posted this a while ago and it has a link to the Microsoft site explaining exactly how to do it and how to create the missing values.
