lost thread
      #34367 - Tue Jan 13 2004 01:37 PM

Hi, can anyone help? I read in a thread a few days ago about some code you can enter in your website to stop others copying parts of it & now I can't find it anywhere! I was telling my dad about it as it would be of some use to him. Does anyone remember seeing this? Thanks

You can't really stop people from copying your source code. You can use a script to disable the right click function of the mouse, but it's only a matter of going to View | View Source to see what the code is.

I understand you can stop others hot-linking to your images but thats another question. If you use frames all they can see is the code for the frames in source code.
