MediaPortal help please
      #343280 - Fri Apr 13 2007 09:01 PM

As suggested in your latest mag I have downloaded MediaPortal and found it impressive, intuitive and easy to use. The only problem I have is that it simply won't play MP3's. I've trawled through the MediaPortal website and can't find any mention of this problem. DVDs, CDs, MPEGs, Quicktime, Realmedia files and so on are all fine but not MP3s. When I try to change the settings I only get 2 options for media players - Bass and default player (I thought there would be more, like the opportunity to tie in with other players but alas not). I have WMP11, Quintessential Player, Media Player Classic (for Quicktime & RM files) and Zoom player installed on my system, which is XP SP2 AMD 64, Soundblaster Live 24.

Any ideas? Thanks
