I play an online game which uses the latest version of Macromedia flash. It is just a simple game but highly addictive lol
I use Internet Explorer 7 as a browser but there are rumours on the game that some other browsers would run the game faster which would in turn result in getting "faster" scores.
Would this be true and if so which browser would you recommend? Or is it down to things like internet connection with flash games?
Thanks in advance
The link for the game is here incase it will help you answer my question -
I don't know if that's true under all circumstances, but if a Flash file is embedded in a page with code that has a "wmode" parameter of "transparent" or "opaque" then there is a chance that IE will suffer a slight loss of performance compared to other browsers.
If you try an alternative browser, use FF or Opera rather than one that's IE-based like Maxthon.
Thanks mate, I appreciate your reply. I will pass it on and I am sure one of us in the team will try a browser you recommend.
Just a quick one........if I was to install say Opera, would this over ride IE7? or could I just open Opera for playing the actual game and use IE7 as normal? I have only ever used Internet Explorer and arent so good with browsers.
