NetObjects Fusion help
      #342370 - Sat Apr 07 2007 01:32 PM

Hi there, this software came on a cd-rom with a previous issue of Webuser, but its got me baffled. Decided to make myself a quick website to promote an interest. Managed to throw somthing together with the help of the wizard, wasn't too worried about it looking fancy at this stage. Downloaded ftp client, uploaded the site, and hey presto it appeared... only it was missing its banners and buttons! I have tried to establish why and cannot seem to get to the bottom of it. Any one else had this problem and manage to find a cure? Using Windows XP if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Andrew

I heve used this in the past but I don't like it. If you have a website created with NetFusion it's great until you decided to use another package. Then you'll find that the pages you've created don't transfer to normal html or WYSIWYG editors. I feel that the program holds you to ransom. OR maybe I was using it wrong

Have you uploaded the images for the buttons and banners?

If you have, are they in the right place?

What's the address of your website? will be better able to run down the problem if I can access the site.

All the best - Duncan

Hi there, thanks for the quick responses. Previously I hadn't uploaded the images for the buttons and banners, but managed to work that out before I read your comment. Unfortunately the site is now only partly working. The buttons and banners are displayed, well kind of... maybe if you have a look for yourself

The content is pretty much empty at the moment, I wanted to get this working before I went any further.

Most of your images have become corrupted, try uploading them again.

The banner is only 10 pixels high instead of the intended 56. Most of the button images are also corrupted.

Use the NOF built-in FTP, not an external one. NOF will then upload everything in it's right folder with no corruption.
