I have recently bought a new computer and I have suddenly got a problem when I try to copy and paste from my yahoo e-mails. Once I have copied a section and try to paste into WORD it crashes word. This only happens from my Yahoo e-mail, copying and pasting from other internet sites are no problem. I have never had this problem before with years of copying and pasting from Yahoo to word. My version of windows is Microsoft Windows XP, Media Centre Edition, Version 2002, and Service Pack 2. I am using WORD 2003. I know it is not a major problem but it is a nuisance. Can anybody help? Bill.
Try using the Detect and repair option in the Help menu in Word. You may need your Word 2003 installation disc if it's asked for.
Alternatively, try using Ctrl + V to paste the selection or even trying via the Menu Bar > Edit > Paste Special > Select the options available one at a time.
