Hi gaza,

With your cursor on the page you wish to cut & paste; press Ctrl&A (to select all). then press Ctrl&C (to copy), then place cursor in the document you wish to paste in to and press Ctrl&V (to paste).

Or, if you really want to cut, which means to delete the original from it's current location before pasting, Ctrl&X.

Personally, I prefer to copy, and then to delete afterwards, once I'm sure it's worked. That way, if anything does go wrong (and it will sometimes), I can go back and try it again.

You can always undo cut or undo paste! Edit|Undo

When it works. Most of the time it will, but there are occasions when the undo option's greyed out or just isn't available for some reason, depending on exactly what you're trying to do. For example, I've just checked Edit on my browser, and there isn't an Undo option for this page.

That said, you're right in most cases, Joe. I suppose I'm just being picky. Sorry. Nothing personal.

That's right barney, you can't cut text from someones web page but you can copy, so there is no need for the undo tool.
