I want to get a Western Digital My Book external hard drive (are these any good?)to back-up my photos and music. But I've also bought a new Dell PC running Vista Premium. Will the Western Digital work with Vista? Or, if not, is there a model that will? Thanx
Removable hard drives should work with Vista, no problem. They are plug and play and get picked up as soon as you plug them in. The only potential problem is if you get one with backup software that may not work with Vista.
