Well, the easy part is building a website, the hardest part I have found is to get people to know it's there and to use it.
I hope you like it.

web page

It's an attractive-looking site and easy to navigate, but I wasn't sure about the language on the homepage. It seems to be Latin, but I couldn't understand it.

I think it must be something to do with Firefox. On the bottom part of the page, under where it says "To advertise on this site...", there were 4 entries saying "Title thing" (without the quote marks) and underneath each entry are a lot of words which look like Latin, or a Latin-based language. When I viewed the site using IE7 tonight, that isn't there, there are links to various charities and a counter. It's OK in Firefox if I use IE Tab to view it.

What you've done is left some of the template text still in place. Why I'm not sure because it appears to be commented out correctly.

Everything after <div class="fw-mini-pars"> is being display in Firefox.

If you add a close comment tag after that line, immediately followed by an open comment tag (the close tag is already in place at the end of the code you want to comment out), that should sort the problem.

Or you could simply delete it.

This seems to be a problem only in Firefox. Opera is displaying the page correctly.

All the best - Duncan

Thanks for that guys, I had absolutely no idea there was a problem, you've really been helpful, I will go and try to fix it now.
Otherwise, is the site okay?
Kind Regards
Cally

Okay, done it, can you tell me if that's fixed now?
Also, I have used all kinds of link exchange/website reviews programmes and still struggling to get visitors and people to stay, I think I probably need something more exciting, hmmmm?

Yep, that's sorted it. Displays properly in Firefox now.

Did it have 'Lorem Ipsum' still on the page?

All I'd say is try not to make the site too long.

Generally, people hate having to scroll endless amounts of a page to find anything that they want to find.

I really like the header image and the overall colours are fine

I'm not too keen on the flashing welcome as it hurts my eyes after a while

Considering that the site is about youth I think the colour scheme (dark/light blue and black lettering) on some pages is a little subdued. The links are more colourful. On the disclaimer page you might want to change 'reguarding' to 'regarding'

Any site that seeks to help folk and create a more positive image of youth has to be welcomed.
