Hey all.
Here's the short version of the question... Does anyone know how I can enable one laptop with a 3G card (on T Mobile) to share this 3G link with another laptop?
One idea I had was to have the two computers linked as such.....
Laptop A with 3G card and Linksys WTR54GS WIreless travel router ........and........... Laptop B With Wifi adapter (to talk to the travel router in Laptop A)
Another idea was.......
Laptop A with 3G card (somehow marked as shared connection) ...........and........... Laptop B
and the two laptops linked with a crossover 10baseT type cable
Does anyone have any real world experience of this? If not, can anyone offer any thoughts on how I can acheive this
I realise the speed will suffer, from the 384 3G but thats not really an issue.
Cheers guys

I think I would tackle it from a different perspective. I presume your aim is to connect two laptops together, is that right? I would use a crossover ethernet cable and then use the Network Connections Wizard to get the two talking to each other. Having made the connection it should be fairly easy to share the 3G connection. Or are the distances involved to great for wired connections?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
