Does your ISP not provide some web space for you?

OK. Well, with Telewest/NTL/Virginmedia you will have some space. It's a matter of finding and accessing it.
As you intimated earlier, there are other sources of free web space, for testing purposes - though I wouldn't recommend them for anything more permanent.

Have a look at this for help with your personal web space.

I have never yet been able to access my NTL webspace, despite following the instructions to the letter several times. Always get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" I gave up trying in the end. I pay a small fee to Angelfire for space which is free of advertising. I get plenty of storage and no problems. They do a free webspace too if you don't mind adverts, then that's fine. It's so easy to follow their instructions.

It appears Virgin altered parts of their systems with the NTL merger, etc. I lost a couple of email address' I'd had with them since day one. Maybe there's an element of that in regards to accessing your freespace. C'est la vie.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, hope you get sorted with some free hosting.

Did you look at the link I posted? Here it is again.

I have NTL webspace and those instructions are the same as they've always been.
