New feature on Googlemail (Gmail) You can now divert and recive mail at your Gmail account also compose and send from here as well (looks as though it originates from your other Mailbox ) ...Worth a future workshop feature in the Magazine? Quote:
Get mail from other accounts Now Gmail can check for the mail you receive at your other email accounts. You can retrieve your mail (new and old) from up to five other email accounts and have them all in Gmail. Then you can even create a customized 'From:' address, which lets you send messages from Gmail, but have them look like they were sent from another one of your email accounts. Please note that you can only retrieve mail from accounts that have POP3 access enabled

As it stands most Gmailers can send from their Account, but the New feature is being rolled out slowly to complete the cycle. Check the Accounts Tab in "Settings" to see if both sections are available?
Open Question to anybody What email services are NOT POP3 enabled at this time? I'd use it as a back up if say the Mail box server has gone offline for some reason...only little security problem I see is Spam in the mail box will appear on both sites but will it get filtered out by Gmails filters?
