when I login to my computer I get two error messages
1) PSAPI.DLL getprocessimageFilenameW
and
2) RUNDLL C:\PROGRA~1|MYWEB~1\bar\i.bin\MWSBAR.DLL
can anyone tell me, why I have them and how to get rid of them.

worzel1 , the message regarding MWSBAR.DLL looks like it may be connected to the "My Web Search" toolbar. It's a wee nasty you don't want on your PC , and it could be you're infected , or , have the remains of an infection.
If you go to the... hijackthis forum...and read... Andrew's post...for instructions on how to post a log , a hijack helper will help you check this out.
Once you've done this let us know if the other error is still causing a problem.

Regarding your 1st error message, I think this is a SmartBridge Alerts error. People using BT as their ISP get this a lot, but it happens with other ISPs too, see here. If you're posting a log on the HJT forum, they should be able to help you with this too.

worzel , you won't be aware that I've been following your hijack log , and , the superb help you've received , so although i know the outcome i find it refreshing that you've taken the time to let me know.

You're very welcome, glad to know you're sorted. One thing, did you install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 as recommended in the HJT forum?

Yes I did download the Java Runtime Enviroment (JRE) 6 offline .then did the HJtL.
