FTP Issues
      #332801 - Fri Feb 16 2007 03:11 PM

My PC was working fine until yesterday. I went to upload some files to my site but found I couldn't... at least, not whole files.

I was using Core FTP which suddenly refused to connect to the server so I uninstalled it and downloaded FireFTP. This program allows me to connect to the server and download previously uploaded files, but if I try to upload new ones, only 50% of the file uploads.

I have tried both large and small files, images, html docs, mp3's mpegs... every single one only uploads EXACTLY 50% of the file (50k files upload as 25k - if I try to view them I'm told they're corrupt).

My friend also has FTP access to my site and can upload and download with no problems.

anyone have any idea what might be wrong? any help is mucho appreciated.

thanks

Have you checked to see that you have not reached your bandwidth and/or disc space limit?
I know that a few months ago i couldn't upload via ftp and upon chekcing my host Cpanel found I'd reached my limit.
