Friends, I have windows xp, and all was ok until I downloaded wndows update, I took about half an hour, My computer is running ok except my default connection can't be changed, it always goes to= go.microsoft.com and the MSN site. I went to "tools, and then to connections and my default is correct tesco.net I also have tesco secruity and I have scanned for any viruses there is none. Could you please tell me how to alter the default.

I would guess you've just downloaded IE7. You need to follow the links on that page to tell IE7 your preferences. Once you've done that you should be able to go back to your home page.
