I'd copied my IP address down incorrectly. Now where's that blushing smiley?! So, back to you Scribble "I think i worked it out" - How does he do it? And is your IP only visible to you on your PC (showing my ignorance and expecting a load of ROLOs with replies!)

It uses a simple PHP script, such as the one below
<?php $img_number = imagecreate(275,25); $backcolor = imagecolorallocate($img_number,102,102,153); $textcolor = imagecolorallocate($img_number,255,255,255);
imagefill($img_number,0,0,$backcolor); $number = " Your IP is $REMOTE_ADDR";
Imagestring($img_number,10,5,5,$number,$textcolor);
header("Content-type: image/jpeg"); imagejpeg($img_number); ?>
It is visible to you alone

"Simple" Told you I'd show my ignorance! "It is visible to you alone" - that's what I wanted to hear. Thanks.
