It has been over a year now since I attempted to print a photo or two. When I transfer photo's to the computer, they go to Picasa2, a suite a prefer. I have a few others on my comp, all freebies, but they might as well be removed. Anyway, within picasa, there are a number of pics that with a bit of cropping and enlarging, might be usefull for family etc.
However after preparing an ideal pic for printing, I waste an a4 sheet with the one pic. Ideally I'd like to be able to somehow lift them and arrange several on one sheet. Is this something I can do on a free editing suite and if so, can it be done easily.

Assuming these photos are all in the same directory you can do it with software already on your PC. If you right click on one and choose Open With then Windows Picture and Fax Viewer the picture will open full screen. Choose the printer icon at the bottom of the screen and a Wizard will open. Click Next and you will be presented with a thumbnail for each picture in the directory. Choose as few or as many as you want to print and click Next. Set up the printer with the appropriate paper, colour speed etc. then click Next. You can then choose one of the layouts. I know it's not a full photo editing suite but it is free and it might do what you want.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
