Been hearing a lot about PDA's and would like to read up more about them i.e. how you can get on the internet with them (e.g. if you're not at home), what they're like to use, if they're "good" etc etc - just about anything really. Have done a search but can only find where to buy them. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks.
Just found some information about them, sorry about posting.

Have a read of this, Caroline
I have A Dell Axim X5, a great bit of kit and very versatile although a bit bulkier than most. Can't live without it at work

Thanks Iain, a very interesting article. Will keep me quiet for a while whilst I read through it - ("hooray" I hear everyone say lol.)

Hi. That's a great website. Thanks for posting the link.
In response to the original post, I recieved a HP iPaq 1940 Pocket PC PDA for christmas and it's great! I have taken it on the internet (infact i am writing this on the pda), downloaded lots of freeware programs and games, thrown lots of MP3s on it to listen to in Windows Media Player that came on it.
I have not used it on the net outside home yet, but I have been on the BT website and found a wireless internet street near where I live, so l'm going to take it there and see what happens. I have also found some WI-FI enabled pubs nearby, so no doubt I will take it there :-)
I also sync all of my work so I can continue with my Word and Excel documents anywhere.
There are also Palms, which a lot of people I know have, and they seem very good too.
At the end of the day, it depends on your budget and what you will be using it for as to which you purchase, and the guidence on the website mentoned further up the thread is very good at comparing Pocket PC's and Palms.
