i used to have an old desktop until two weeks ago when i changed to a laptop (forgive me i know nothing about computers..) it is a Packard Bell EasyNote PB57C00001. my problem is, if i go to one of my regular sites i cannot upload a jpeg image anymore. all the pictures on the laptop are jpeg..if i try to upload one, i get the message to please upload a different image as this one isnt jpeg?? i thought it was a problem on the site so i sent an email and they didnt know what i was talking about. i went to a different site and that was the same. basiclly a long story short i cannot upload any images to any site (i am talking bout a site such as www.communities.com ) is it my settings? i have firewall on,cookies enabled (like they ask) and i have pop up blocker,ad muncher,and norton internet security.(but i had all these on my old desktop with no problems..) i forgot to mention, i am on windows xp,and if i try to upload from my husbands computer there is no problems. thankyou in advance..

What browser are you using to upload the images, were said images on your old PC?

all the images were on my old desktop, i am on windows xp (vista capable) as fo the browser i have no idea i am not computer literate,no idea when it comes to things like this!!

Can I ask if you really mean 'upload' or 'download'. Are you trying to copy JPEGs from your computer to somewhere else or copy them from the net to your PC?

i am trying to upload pictures to various websites, for instance, myspace,where it gives the option to put pictures on my profile
