Motorola L6 Orange

I have just got an L6 on Orange Pay As You Go. I am having problems sending a text message. The feature to 'Write Message' is not there. If I want to reply to a message it comes up with 'Setup'. This only happens if I use an Orange SIM card. I have put in an o2 SIM card and I could easily write a text message. Please Help!

Best to give Orange a ring, explain the problem and it maybe as simple as them updating your sim card via service message.
