My daughter has an old standalone PC running XP. She has changed her logon password and forgotten what she put. Unfortunately it's the admin account. She has another logon which she can remember but it's a limited user account. I need access to the admin account. How do I get access if she can't remember the password?
Thanks in advance...again!

Basically, you don't! The whole point of the Admin account is that it has complete control over the PC so the password system is deliberately designed to stop illegal access. There are ways of resetting the password, usually by booting the PC via a floppy (or CD) and then overwriting the password file with a blank one. Have a look at this for some ideas.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
