Logic3 USB Gamepad help!

Hi, Any help on this prob would be appriciated, I have been trying to play Hitman: Contracts with my USB Gamepad but the game just doesnt reconise it, I have an Acer T120E running XP Pro with SP2, XP reconises the Gamepad and even lets me configure it but the game doesnt, any ideas?!
