hi
my pc crashed and when i rebooted it it seemed to have lost my dvd drive, also when it boots up i have noticed where it says primary drive and secondry drive it has loads of gobbldygook after it, i have ran a virus scan and spybot etc.
it is now showing up as a cd drive but when i view the properties of it it has no name.
please help

Hi
Have you tried the CD that came with the DVD drive the drivers should be on it, or you could try going on line to find them,or you could try going back on a restore point that should get you working again, or you could go down the line and back up all your work and do a complete reinstall of you system but don't forget to save your work as you will lose it going down this road
