xp audio driver issues

Hi can anyone help.

I've had to reinstall windows xp and since the reinstall i have no sound and get error message saying no drive installed. I have checked device manager and have a yellow question mark next to multimedia audio controller but i do not know how to get this fixed. Can anyone help?

Check Windows Update for the drivers, failing that we will need to know the name of your sound card to link you to the drivers.

Download and install Everest and this will tell you.
