unable to install IE7 and now WMP 11

been trying too install IE7 for the last 2 weeks but no joy.just tried installing windows media player 11 and that doesn't install either.
whats going on ?

Hi, i know this dosent answer you question but i would consider yourself lucky not to be saddled with IE7.
Im almost 100% certain that ie7 is the root of my current network problems.
Id get Firefox
or
Maxthon.

You need to have a legitimate copy of XP with SP2 otherwise Microsoft won't allow you to install them. No problems at all with IE7 in our house.
