My PSP Website - Feedback Wanted
      #317953 - Mon Nov 27 2006 11:34 AM

Hello All,

My Site: Almoace's PSP Site
I have started building a PSP site and would please very much like some feedback on it, the site is not very complete yet as there is over 600 PSP games out and it has only been a PSP site for about a week.
0-9 Games and A-D Games are done (but not complete), but E-Z Games have not been done as yet, but I think the rest is OK.
Mainly I would like to know if the site is easy to read and navigate as this is very important to any site, but all feedback is welcome.

Also just to let you know in advance, my Link Page has Affiliate links so if you don't want to see them, please don't visit that page.

Thankyou All,
Almohunt / Almoace.

Sites ok but obviously content only of interest to PSP gamers, heres an idea, ehat about a section for parents/relations who just don't know what game to buy as presents giving an overview on the games from that perspective, you could have a forum where a parent could ask "well he has this and that game, whats a the latest in a similar game"? or something similar or a rating system.

Thanks homersaysdoh,

Good idea, I am a parent myself so it shouldn't be too hard to do.

Thankyou,
Almohunt / Almoace

My advice to you is to have a look at something like Wordpress I used it for www.londoncabbie.net, it has made my life much simpler.

Sorry to be critical, but before you start worrying about more content you should really work on the design, it's terrible.
There is no flow to it, just odd bits of graphics and text stuck on the page.
I think you would do well to take notice of the previous poster. At least you would be able to bring some order into the page.
Sorry to be so harsh, but the minute most visitors see your page as it is, they will simply move on.
Good luck.

Web design is pretty hard to learn and like some other web skills they come via evolution rather than revolution .

I had a quick look at your portfolio and while theres no offence intended i'd say your still on the web design learning curve yourself .

IMHO one of your worst mistakes is the flash intros as they are quite pointless .

Hey just viewed your site...it needs a bit of work!
Well you can change your title from index to something psp related? For example if you see the top bar of this site's page u will read something like webuser forums etc etc
You should put up a title for all your pages, that way a user will have a quick idea of where they are and what they are looking at.
I think you need to spruce up your header image, keep it simple and remove the welcome message, its too big!
Anyways best of luck, a good way to start designing a website is to look at some other popular websites and see how they integrate their background images, and the colour they use for the fonts and everything else.
Take care!
