I am using Tom Tom 710 and see that there are various channels on it that Blue Tooth would assist on. 1) is it worth bothering taking it on board ? 2) is there a good explanatory site, as I know zilch about it? hope this is right Forum for this question

BlueTooth is simply a means of transferring data from one device to another. What data do you want to transfer to your TomTom and what form is it in - PC, CD, telephone etc.?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Thanks for reply greysts., as I said I do not know about Bluetooth and am only looking at it from the sat nav point of view. They say on their manual that other services can be brought in, such as traffic prefeences /info / and minimise delays.also route your mobile through it. With regard to actually using it, I would imagine I may not be prepared to pay for a wireless data connection as to set it up may not be worth the outlay. Is there an explanatory site ? Thanks again, cauldbum.
