Screen set to top left after every reset
      #317063 - Tue Nov 21 2006 11:44 PM

Hi
I am experiencing problems with my monitor, every time I switch on or restart the screen is offset to the top left of the monitor by about 1/2 inch.

Example of problem

The auto adjust button also seems to have stopped working too, all it does now is make the screen jump up & down slightly when pressed.

The screen can be manually adjusted to the correct position, but there is no store function so it resets as soon as I reboot.

The monitor is a CIBOX branded 19" TFT which I bought less than 6 months ago from a Computer Fair, only now I can't find my receipt, so probably have little chance of taking it back.

Any ideas as to what may have caused it or if anything can be done?
Or is it a bin job?

Did you get an installation disc with the monitor at all, sounds like it could be a driver issue.

Nope no driver disc was included. I have tried looking on their website but with no luck either.

Just found the receipt, only bought on 21/06/06 so I have fired off a polite email to them
