Can anyone explain why it is that when I receive an email with an attachment, (outlook express 6), there is a note across the top of the email saying "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments"
I can not open the attachment although I know it is safe to open.
Any assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

This usually occurs when an update is done to OE.
Go to OE, Tools, Options, Security Tab and uncheck "Do not allow attachments......".
