I have a K800i and have put in a 1gb Memory stick micro. It can be viewed through SE File Manager, but through the Sony Disc2Phone software it cannot be seen. I have tried taking out and putting in and formatting the MSM, and uninstalling and reinstalling the software but still no joy. File Manager even lets me put things on the MSM and take things off it ???

I have a Sony Ericsson K800i with a 1GB M2 stick. What exactly are you trying to do? just transfer stuff?
I either use the USB2 data cable that comes with the handset and drag and drop music or stuff into it or transfer stuff with a Blutooth Dongle. I dont take the stick out of my handset, its very fiddly doing it like that.
Bluetooth Dongle
Also, just had a thought. The Sony Ericsson software you have on you're PC - is that from the CD that comes with the phone? If so go on the Sony Ericsson website and have a look at the version you have compared to what version is on the website. It is quite likely that the software on the CD is an old version which may have had bugs of some nature.
By the way esato.com is a great site for finding anything out about Sony Ericsson handsets. Alot of usefull information there thats always updated ie new firmware versions for handsets, anything basically to do with SE.
