CCLeaner & IE7 problem.
      #312447 - Sat Oct 28 2006 04:38 PM

I have CCleaner set to save cookies from my fave sites so i don't have to log in every time i use CCleaner then visit my fave sites.
I now use IE7 and found CCleaner deletes the cookies even though i have it set to ignore them.

Heres a temp fix if you are having the same problem.(i have read they are working on a fix)

Open Crap Cleaner > click on 'cleaner' > then under 'Internet Explorer' untick the 'delete index.dat files' entry.

Thanks, that'll be useful to know when I get round to installing IE7.

Hi maxping,

When you say temp fix do you save cookies everytime you run ccleaner.

I made the mistake of just running cceaner and wiped out all my passwords, I've only just got back onto the forums.

Go into ccleaner , options , cookies, move all the ones you want from the left box to the right.

Do the trick in my first post.

Now when you run ccleaner it should not delete your saved cookies.
