My Lexmark 5150 All in One printer has suddenly started printing horizontal yellow line across my printouts. No matter what i print whether it is a word doc or a web page this seems to happen. I just noticed that it only seems to affect images in colour not black. For instance on my CV I have a blue border at the top and bottom and when i print it print a yellow line below it or sometimes thru the blue line, the black text is not affected. I have the correct ink cartridges installed. Any ideas please?

I assume you've gone through the process of head cleaning and alignment etc. It's worth trying a re-install of the drivers.

Yup ive done all the troubleshooting things, alignment, head cleaning etc.. i haven't tried re-installing drivers so I will give that a go and post back here. thanks

Well I have tried re-installing the driver for the printer but i am still getting printouts with these yellow lines. Any more ideas folks, thanks!
